   The Southwestern is a licensed & insured 28 foot custom built Skipjack that specializes in creating unforgettable memories with you & your family or friends. We offer private, personalized fishing adventures along the beautiful coast of SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA for 1-4 anglers. Known for our impeccable customer service, we operate to cater to your wants & needs. Whether it be a full day fishing trip or an intimate bay cruise, we can personalize a charter to fit your desires.

   Our state of the art electronics, updated fishing rods, 65 gallon bait tank & one ton insulated fish hold ensures we have the equipment to catch & store fish. Everyone aboard the Southwestern cruises comfortably with access to a V – Berth sleeping area, microwave & private head. We  also provide water, soft drinks, snacks & fresh fruit. Offering cold storage for any food you’d like to bring as well.

   As a lifelong San Diego native,  Travis Hargis spent his youthful years working his way up on some of the finest boats in San Diego’s long range and overnight fleet.  Sequentially equipping him with the experience to label him a seasoned veteran at fishing our local waters. He’s had the possession of his 100 ton masters license since the young age of 19.

   Captain Travis offers a wide range of different angling opportunities for all experience levels and brings a lifetime of local knowledge combined with years of professional fishing guide experience to the table.
